WoW Forever Enhancement Shaman Leveling Build (10–60)
A 9/31/11 preview plan emphasizing melee, travel convenience, and mana tools. Every step follows the imported calculator rules; performance has not been tested in game.

Who this plan is for
Use this as a starting point if you want a melee-oriented solo leveling route with travel and mana conveniences. It assumes the preview’s first point at level 10, one point per level, and a 51-point budget at level 60. It does not simulate gear, damage, spell-learning levels, or encounter performance.
At level 40, the plan has 31 points in Enhancement. At level 51 it adds Water Shield through an 11-point Restoration investment. The last nine points favor offensive spell efficiency and selected damage effects in Elemental Combat.
Level-by-level talent order
Each link loads the cumulative allocation at the end of that row. Click a talent name to read its recorded ranks and source. Bonuses from abilities you have not learned yet are not available just because a talent references them.
| Levels | Add points | Why this step | Try it |
|---|---|---|---|
| 10–14 | Thundering Strikes +5 points | Start with critical-strike chance for spells and attacks, then open the second row. | Load level 14 |
| 15–16 | Improved Ghost Wolf +2 points | Prioritize travel convenience once Ghost Wolf is available. Investing now does not grant the underlying spell early. | Load level 16 |
| 17–19 | Mental Dexterity +3 points | Take the recorded Intellect-to-attack-power conversion and satisfy the prerequisite for Flurry. | Load level 19 |
| 20–22 | Elemental Weapons +3 points | Support weapon imbues. The benefit depends on which imbue you have learned and use. | Load level 22 |
| 23 | Shamanistic Focus +1 point | Reduce the recorded mana cost of Shocks and Lightning Shield. | Load level 23 |
| 24 | Ancestral Knowledge +1 point | Add Intellect and reach 15 lower-tier points before Stormstrike. | Load level 24 |
| 25 | Stormstrike +1 point | Add the recorded weapon strike and Nature-damage effect. Its tooltip is preview data. | Load level 25 |
| 26–30 | Flurry +5 points | Invest in the melee-critical-strike attack-speed effect. Mental Dexterity is already filled. | Load level 30 |
| 31–32 | Mental Quickness +2 points | Take the Intellect scaling and satisfy the direct prerequisite for Rage of the Farseer. | Load level 32 |
| 33 | Spirit Weapons +1 point | Add the recorded parry effect. Its threat modifier changes with Rockbiter, so check the imbue before group play. | Load level 33 |
| 34 | Ancestral Knowledge +1 point | Bring Ancestral Knowledge to rank 2 and reach 25 lower-tier points. | Load level 34 |
| 35–39 | Maelstrom Weapon +5 points | Reach the final tier through Maelstrom Weapon. Higher ranks are unconfirmed; do not infer a final proc rate from this snapshot. | Load level 39 |
| 40 | Rage of the Farseer +1 point | Complete the 31-point Enhancement core with the recorded attack and casting-speed cooldown. | Load level 40 |
| 41–45 | Improved Healing Wave +5 points | Choose faster Healing Wave casts as a solo-sustain preference, rather than claiming maximum damage. | Load level 45 |
| 46–50 | Tidal Focus +5 points | The preview combines reduced healing costs with hit chance for spells and attacks. Higher ranks still need confirmation. | Load level 50 |
| 51 | Water Shield +1 point | Reach the recorded mana-return shield. Only one elemental shield can be active, so this competes with Lightning Shield. | Load level 51 |
| 52–56 | Convection +5 points | Spend the remaining points toward lower offensive spell costs. This is an efficiency choice. | Load level 56 |
| 57–59 | Call of Flame +3 points | Support the listed Fire abilities and totems. This allocation does not unlock Lava Burst. | Load level 59 |
| 60 | Concussion +1 point | Use the final point on the listed Lightning and Earth Shock damage effects. | Load level 60 |
The choices you may want to change
- Travel versus combat: Improved Ghost Wolf is a convenience preference. If you rarely travel in the form, compare another lower-tier investment, while preserving the points needed to unlock later rows.
- Efficiency versus damage: The Restoration detour postpones further offensive investment. It is useful to explore when mana and self-healing matter more to your play than a damage-only setup.
- Shield choice: Water Shield and Lightning Shield cannot be active together in the recorded description. Unlocking both gives a choice, not simultaneous benefits.
- Threat and imbues: Spirit Weapons changes its threat effect with Rockbiter. This guide does not establish a tanking build or recommend one imbue for every situation.
What remains uncertain
Maelstrom Weapon’s higher ranks are unconfirmed in this snapshot; repeated displayed values are not proof that all ranks behave identically. Mental Dexterity and several other scaling effects also include inferred ranks. This plan validates legal point allocation under provisional rules, not actual leveling speed or final game balance.
